Heckel x heckel breedeing in Poland

We haven't had much luck so far with breeding our heckels, but friend of ours had.
This is first heckels breeding in Poland
Him and his wife (Renata i Andrzej Nowicki of Superdiscus)) bought their heckels in January 2009 from the same source what ours are.

Since then, in Andrew's hatchery next pair of heckel discus has formed and on 15,11,2010 at 2 pm laid eggs. Female heckel is in front

This time he recorded everything, because there were some people that would not belive this has happened.

I have seen this on an other forum and it was difficult to see both parents, but now everyone must admit that the parents are real Heckels.
It would be very interesting to know the waterparameters from the breeding. Do you know about that Gajowa?

It´s very impressive now that the evidencie is great

All I know is that ph was 3,5 and he didn't change the water for some time. Pair was in "spawning moode" for a few weeks, before he placed them in breeding tank.
In his main tank with heckels he changes water every 3 months!!!!
He has now a third pair dancing around breeding cone.

Only one thing remaining....kill the parents and put them under the microscope to se the DNA´s ....

agree with Tony how do you do to keep this low leval stady without changing with new acid prepaird water?

Hi Barbara, and congratulations to SuperDiscus Poland,

a dream comes true and I am happy for all of you, well,done. The pH might have been (and or helped) the successful breeding and hatching. Did the previous ever grow? Can we see how the young look like? Would be nice.

Would also be nice to know the conductivity.

And Barbara: Why I do not get any answer from you? I had send e-mails...
