Hi Slovenia,
this is Italy (or the Amazon, or the world...): heioko.
Your discus are beautiful, well feed and look very healthy, but you are missing the fine sand (if possible white) for them. They need it - specially wild discus...
All the best, merry Christmas and a healthy and happy new discus-yewar...

Is need the right word? After all lots of people keep diskus in naked tanks with just glass and a claypot.Heiko Bleher wrote:Hi Slovenia,

Wild ones like need the sand, they frikkin eat it, i read somwhere that there was a guy who made mix for wild diskus, he alway put a pitch of sand in the mix.

Hello Heiko,
first i must say thank you for your comment. I agree with you, that this kind of sand is mistake. I see that now. For discus is hard to find food and even for cleaning is harder. Im planing to do some changes in future in my tank...put into just a few of driftwood and white fine sand - no plants.
With regards,
Leon Vavri?uk
Merry christmas and happy new expedition-year!
