I believe that this is a heckelcross, maybe whit haraldi, but i do not think this is a pure Heckel.
But they still looks very nice.

sorry for the late answer, I was in India colelcting and also in the UAE (and giving lectures in Kalkotta and Dubai).
The discus are
1. photo is a Heckel discus (S. discus) most probably from the Marimari river (pages 176-177, but those shown in my book are immediately after collecting on the hand).
2. photo is a blue discus (S. haraldi) probably from the Rio Canumà
3. photo you have both S. discus and S. haraldi shown.
These fishes are all (from what I can see) realatively young - only 9- max 10 month old, that is born February 2008 or March 2008.
I hope this helps. And give them fine (white) sand please...

Would love to see a Tank shoot, looks like a wonderful tank
I guess Heiko focus to the Heckel most because i think its allready is white sand in the tank, Am I wrong?
